SCHOKOLADE

Ephemeral event celebrating the sensuality and gourmandise of chocolate

10 → 17 January 2026
Hosted on Musarthis.online
Complimentary access offered by the Swiss houses of Arthésie: Mardès, Mirasis, Chocolatésie

Presentation

Schokolade explores chocolate as an aesthetic presence, a sensitive matter, a gourmand substance shaped by texture, depth and sensuality. The cacao reveals its velvety surfaces, its radiance, its intimate impressions; it inspires gestures, images and inner movements where gourmandise meets art.

Throughout these days dedicated to sensory exploration, Musarthis.online presents works that consider chocolate as a cultural, poetic and expressive material. Schokolade stands as a celebration of taste, sensuality and an inner elegance that nourishes the imagination.

Access offered by the Swiss houses of Arthésie

This edition is made possible thanks to three Swiss houses of Arthésie:

Mardès, house of publishing, culture and transmission;
Mirasis, house of Haute Poétisserie;
Chocolatésie, Swiss house of poetic chocolate and gourmand literature.

Their commitment shapes a refined space devoted to art and gourmandise.

Schokolade welcomes creators from all over the world.
The event is presented in French and English, the reference languages for this edition.

Call for creators

The call is open internationally.

Artists, poets and artisans inspired by the aesthetics or the imaginative world of chocolate are invited to propose a work in dialogue with this universe.
All forms are welcome — visual, textual, sound-based or otherwise — as long as they explore a dimension of chocolate: sensory, symbolic, historical, imaginative, poetic, nutritional or cultural.

Submissions are accepted in the four languages : French, Italian, German and English.
Applications remain open until 24 December 2025 at midnight.
Only selected creators will be contacted individually.

Musarthis Creation Offer

A selection of creations conceived within the Musarthis network will be available during the event.
These pieces, shaped around chocolate and its imaginative landscape, are entirely separate from the works submitted by participating artists.

A percentage of the sales will be donated to the Musarthis Museum, supporting its cultural projects and the works it promotes.
